The fourth session will move the focus from the Reconstruction of monuments to a broader discussion on the coevolutionary regeneration of heritage cities. To begin, a team from the University of Mosul, Iraq, will present different aspects and outcomes of the UNESCO program Reviving the Spirit of Mosul. Then experiences from Lebanon and Siria will be presented, introducing also the territorial issues of World Heritage sites impacted by war.
