e Francesco Bandarin
The meeting with Francesco Bandarin and Alessandro Balducci is an extraordinary opportunity to present Mantua Unesco Chair and the role it can play. Francesco Bandarin, for several years in charge at UNESCO Headquarters, is recognized as the person who gave the most important contributions to UNESCO policies on Cultural Heritage and Historic Urban Landscapes. Alessandro Balducci, besides his role as professor of Planning, was Mantua Vice Rector in 2011-2013, and in that capacity wrote the first program of the Chair in Architectural Preservation and Planning in Heritage Cities.
